Background
In 2024, Early Transformers proudly hosted the Kgatleng Youth Conference. The first of what is expected to be an annual event, designed and purposed to enrich and empower the lives of young people. A gathering of diverse talent aimed at entertaining and educating the upcoming generations, promoting interaction and community.
The conference provided a platform for youth to engage in meaningful dialogue, gain insights from inspiring speakers, and participate in interactive workshops.

KYC2025: “IGNITING POTENTIAL, DRIVING CHANGE”
This year, KYC returns under the powerful and progressive theme:
“Igniting Potential, Driving Change”
Scheduled for the 06th of December 2025, KYC2025 aims to double its reach and deepen its impact by providing an inclusive, interactive, and empowering platform for young people aged 15-35 across Kgatleng District. The event will feature keynote speeches, youth-led panel discussions, mentorship spaces, and expanded exhibition stalls, all designed to:
Inspire proactive citizenship and innovation
Create bridges between youth and opportunities
Equip attendees with tools for personal and community transformation
Provide a safe, inclusive space for youth expression, learning, and leadership
KYC2025 will continue to elevate local talent, with plans to showcase at least five emerging artists from the district and one nationally recognized artist such as Vee Mampeezy, Han C or Baxon, to significantly increase visibility, participation and engagement. This celebration of music, art and youth culture further strengthens the event’s relevance and appeal across diverse groups of young people.
